Events in Manchester This Halloween Weekend

This year on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th October, Manchester BID presents ‘Halloween in the City’. You don’t want to miss out on these eerie events. There will be lots of spooky spectaculars for the whole family to enjoy. You’ll also see the city ‘Go Green for Halloween’. Paperchase, Afflecks and Harvey Nichols plus many more will be taking part.

Junkyard Golf Club – Fun of the FEARground

A pop up mini golf course ‘FEARground’ will be on display on Market Street this Halloween weekend. It’s completely free to play and participants have the chance to win free food and a session at Junkyard Golf.

The Pumpkin Patch Sensory Play Zone

Visit one of the witch’s huts and discover a woodland-themed sensory play area. This one is great for children as they can listen to forest sounds and have fun on little pumpkin beanbags. Want to hear more? Visit The Pumpkin Patch event page for more information.

Halloween Board Game Café

Do you love board games? Manchester Metropolitan University’s Game Research Network has created a Halloween inspired board game suitable for everyone to play. It gets better; you can eat while you play as the Royal Exchange’s café ‘The Rivals’ will have snacks and drinks available.

CBeebies and CBBC Spooky Specials

Calling all CBeebies and CBBC lovers! A number of the television channel’s favourite shows will be on at Exchange Square including: Go Jetters, Worst Witch, and a brand new Danger Mouse Halloween special. This Spooky Specials event will be lots of fun for the kids.

Campfire Stories of Spooks and Monsters

As sunset approaches, The Manchester Centre for Gothic Studies, The Manchester Writing School and the Manchester Children’s Book Festival, will end the Halloween weekend in Manchester. Spooky stories will be told as guests sit in front of a digital campfire.
