What’s On During the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend in Manchester?

Easter is one of our favourite times of the year, daffodils are blooming, there are lots of bright pastel colours and it’s expected to be a weekend full of sunshine. Each year Manchester offer a number of fun activities for the Easter bank holiday weekend. Last year’s Easter family fun in in the city included tours, music, Easter themed breakfasts at Cafés and much more.

Below you will find some of the activities and events taking place this year.

Manchester Duck Race

The Manchester Duck Race is a family-friendly event where all money raised goes to support children following a Brainwave Programme. This year marks it’s 10th anniversary so you can expect it to be even bigger and better!

Inflatable Fun at Uppermill Park 

This Easter weekend you can find lots of inflatable fun at Uppermill Park (King George V Playing Fields). This activity is suitable for 2 to 10 year olds and is taking place during Friday 19th to Monday 22nd April.

Easter Family Fun at Elizabeth Gaskell’s House

Elizabeth Gaskell’s House have organised Easter fun for the whole family this weekend, including crafts, dress up, Easter egg trails and Easter bonnets!

The Ordsall Hall Easter Egg Hunt

On Sunday 21st April there will be an Easter egg hunt taking place at The Ordsall Hall at 1.00pm and 2.20pm. Lots of chocolate goodies to be won!
