Everything you need to know about booking a training, meeting or event space at our Manchester venue.

About the venue

Q: Is there parking at Redbank House

On-site parking is limited and reserved for staff and blue badge holders. Free on-street parking is available nearby, though it is in high demand. An affordable car park is nearby at M4 4HF.

Q: How far is Redbank House from Manchester city centre?

Redbank House is located in Cheetham Hill, approximately 5 minutes on foot from Manchester Victoria station and 10 minutes from Manchester city centre. The venue is also easily accessible by tram (Shudehill) and bus.

Q: What time will the venue be open for set-up?

The building opens at 8.30 am and closes at 5 pm. If you need access before your session starts to set up equipment, arrange the room, or prepare materials, you are welcome to arrive as early as 8.00 am.

Q: Will staff be available on arrival for support if needed?

Yes. Redbank House staff will be on hand when you arrive to assist with directions, room access, equipment queries, and any other support you may need. If you have any accessibility requirements or specific needs that would benefit from additional assistance on arrival, please let staff know in advance so they can prepare accordingly.

Q: Are catering and refreshments available?

Yes, we can provide catering from our dedicated supplier who offers options for a range of budgets, and can cater to most dietary requirements. We also offer tea, coffee and biscuits. Please contact us for options and pricing.

Accessibility the venue

Q: Is Redbank House suitable for people with disabilities?

Yes. As part of the charity Disabled Living, accessibility is central to Redbank House’s mission. The venue is modern and accessible, with facilities designed to accommodate a wide range of needs. For specific accessibility queries, contact the team directly before booking.

Q: Is Redbank House wheelchair accessible?

Yes, Redbank House is fully wheelchair accessible throughout. It is a three-storey building, with a lift.

Q: Is there step-free access to my training room?

Yes. Step-free access is available from the building entrance through to the training room. No steps or level changes should present a barrier for wheelchair users or those with mobility aids along this route.

Q: Are there accessible toilets?

Yes. There is at least one accessible toilet on each floor of the building, meaning delegates will not need to travel between floors to access facilities. Please ask a member of staff on arrival if you need directions to the nearest accessible toilet to your session room.

Q: Is Redbank House equipped with a hearing loop?

Yes. A hearing loop (also known as an audio induction loop) is available at the venue, supporting delegates who use hearing aids with a T-setting. If you or a delegate requires use of the hearing loop, please inform Redbank House staff ahead of your session so this can be confirmed and set up appropriately.

Q: Can lighting and sound be adjusted in the training rooms for sensory access needs?

To some extent, yes. The room has some capacity for adjusting lighting and sound to support delegates with sensory access needs, including those with autism, sensory processing differences, or conditions affected by light sensitivity. If you have specific requirements – for example, reducing overhead lighting, limiting background noise, or adjusting audio levels – please discuss these with Redbank House staff in advance so that the best possible arrangements can be made.
