Staying healthy at work is extremely important, not only does it affect your productivity but your mental health too! This may seem very obvious but coughing and sneezing is the number one way you can get catch an illness. Always wash your hands before you eat and after using the bathroom, especially after sneezing or coughing.
Water keeps you alert and refreshed, it is crucial to your productivity and promotes clear thinking. Buy a large bottle than you can keep at your desk and refill throughout the day.
Eating well during your work week is very important, light and healthy lunches will have long lasting energy with no afternoon slump. If you need a snack, pick some nuts or fruit to get you through the day. Eating well improves your overall general health.
Take breaks and get out in the sun
The sun may not always be possible in England but stepping outside during your lunch break has great benefits, the fresh air gives you a chance to clear your mind and calm yourself if you find your day is hectic. Your daily dose of vitamin D will be in there too!
