Tired of the same old Monday blues and in need of some motivation? We have come up with a few ways to help boost your productivity this Monday morning.

Be prepared

We all tend to indulge over the weekend, making the trip back to reality on Monday more difficult. One way to prevent this is to prepare on Friday for the tasks you expect yourself to be faced with on Monday morning back at your desk. One of the best ways to do this is by making a to-do list! There’s something oddly satisfying when crossing something off that you’ve managed to complete.

Eat healthy

I know it sounds like an impossible task in the Christmas season but eating healthy meals has proven beneficial effects, you will feel better within yourself and you will have a little more energy to get you through the day.

Have a chat

Even if you’ve had a rest all weekend and you’re still feeling under the weather this Monday. How about a little chat over a cup of tea with your colleagues. Nothing really beats and chat and a cuppa after all. Then you should be more productive once you start working!

If you can try to avoid checking work e-mails and voicemails during your time off. It is very tempting to check but when you leave the office you should leave your work stresses and worries there too. So when Monday comes around again you will be rested and ready to tackle any problems.

Having fun over the weekend will make you happy. By doing things that cheer you up you the positive attitude you have will transcend on your Monday morning, this is one of the best ways to beat the Monday blues!
